Purchase Information

When you opt for a paid MyTeacherAide product, you will be prompted to provide payment details and billing address. Payment card information is submitted directly to our payment processor (paddle.com), ensuring it doesn't reach MyTeacherAide servers. Paddle may solicit personal or non-personal details like your name, address, email, credit card info, or other Personal Information. Paddle's privacy policy (https://www.paddle.com/legal/privacy) outlines their data practices. MyTeacherAide has no control over Paddle's data collection. For queries about Paddle's practices, contact Paddle directly. Paddle shares non-personal purchase data (e.g., purchase date, amount, product) with us. This data might be linked to the Personal Information you provide, primarily limited to your email address. Paddle doesn't supply other Personal Information such as your name or credit card details.

Product Interactions

Content uploaded, received, or stored in your MyTeacherAide accounts is saved on our servers.This ensures seamless use of our products, like creating projects with the MyTeacherAide assistant. We retain this content while your account is active.

Geolocation Data

For most products, we log your full IP address when you create an account or access it. This helps prevent future spam sign-ups or unauthorised requests. Account access is logged via IP address for security and fraud prevention, retained as long as your account is active.

Website Interactions

We gather browsing data for analytics, testing, and product design enhancements. This includes browser/OS versions, IP addresses, visited web pages, and referral sources. Voluntary Correspondence

Emails you send to MyTeacherAide are stored, including your email address, for future reference if needed. We also retain volunteered data, such as survey responses. Customer interview recordings are made with your explicit consent.

Data Security

Data transmitted to/from our servers is encrypted (SSL/TLS). Backups are also encrypted. Your data at rest is secured. More on security in our overview. Some product data isn't encrypted in our database, as it's needed to serve you.

Content Deletion in MyTeacherAide Accounts

Trashed content in active accounts is permanently deleted from our servers. Non-identifying content references might be retained in logs temporarily.

Data Location

Our operations are in the United States. If you're outside the US, understand data transfer to the US.
